Anyone into rare or exotic?

I have the yellow and the purple fruited passionfruit vines. The purple is self pollinating and the yellow needs to be pollinated with another variety (usually Caerulea or the purple edible fruited kind). I just take a little paintbrush and pollinate them by hand. You can also save pollen in a little vial in the refrigerator in case they don't flower at the same time.
My yellow and purple fruited ones like to get quite large before flowering. If you live in a warmer environment it will probably be sooner.

Hello Exotic Plant Lovers,

This thread is right up my ally. I love all tropical, exotic, succulents, and anything unusual. Here is a pic of part of my garden. We have been here for two years so it is still a work in progress. Trying to make everyday a tropical vacation type of thing. I call it fantasy gardening.

I would love to see pics of every ones plants!

I just got a Babaco and can't wait for it to fruit. Supposedly should in a year. Got it from a guy at the farmers market that I got my white dragon fruit cutting from (h.sp. white). I've been hand pollinating my passion fruit every single evening (p.edulis 'Frederick') and have some very large fruit. Going to have another bumper crop, hopefully. My rare fruit grower meeting is tomorrow evening and they normally have door prizes and raffles so I may come home with some new beauty. I'm taking a bunch if passi cuttings since that is all I have an abundance of.

what types of plants do you have? its so pretty. do you live on a mountain?

sorry i meant to quote italia.
Yes, we call it a mountain but really it is a hill. When walking up it though it sure does seem like a mountain. lol
I have bannans, palms, aroids, bamboo, dioons, and much much more. My gardens have always been an addiction for me. I would be hard pressed to say what a favorite would be. My passion vines never fruit. I guess I need to get out there with a q-tip. Here are a few more pics
