Anyone Know Much About Bumble Foot in Turkeys? ***PICS ADDED***

I did not know turkey-abuse existed till I saw those pics. I too am stunned at the conditions this poor guy must have been kept in to get those kind of wounds. It almost looks like he was forced to lay down a lot, like maybe the pen wasn't high enough. Thank god you are cleaning him up. You are his angel.

I was told dileted listerine was a good cleanser. Its suppose to be good at knocking out germs.

Get all of the animals away from him and turn him in for animal cruelty. Take pictures of the conditions at the farm. Tell him you want more of the turkeys or whatever else this person has. That is horrible! can you wrap a soft towel over a board for him to stand on. That will give him cushion and also a place for his feet to stay clean. He looks so much better after the bath, I bet he is thinking wow I have went to heaven!!!

Birch-I agree with Horsejody. Authorities should be aware of that poor birds previous owners. All of their animals should be confiscated. He is very lucky you have him now. I know he will flourish in your care. Best of luck to you and him.

Most humane societies let you give anonymous tips to report abuse.
