If anyone needs gender or breed help to confirm they're birds I can make timelines for all of these. as well as for Wyandottes and Australorps. The EE, d'uccle and wyandotte are roos and the others are girls. if you want any of these timelines comment below and I'll post pics in a comment. hope i can help

I would LOVE that I have been seaching through so many old posts trying to get a pictorial idea of what some on mine look like in comparison to others here- Looks like they started a sticky of a sexting project, but nothing much has come of it. It would be great to see weekly pics of pullets and roos' from week 1

I am interested in Buff orpington, Australorp and Dominique ( I know marking at hatch on Dominique should be good)

edited for spelling

at a few days old

'
83336_redblue3.jpg

then at a couple weeks old
83336_2.jpg

83336_1.jpg

then a few weeks older
83336_1444.jpg

83336_1666.jpg

83336_1777.jpg

then we move her outside at 6 or 8 weeks(here people started saying rue due to her poor lacing, but notice the still small yellow comb)

83336_ginko3.jpg

83336_ginko4.jpg

then guesses switch back to hen at abut 3 or 4 mos when better lacing appears
83336_ginkgogirl.jpg

83336_ginkgogirl4.jpg

83336_ginkgogirl5.jpg

now at about 5 mo she's definitely a hen.

Ok, here's the Dominique, her name is Peony
day old
83336_009.jpg

(in the back, left)
83336_024.jpg

3-4 weeks
83336_200281_1697822163476_1175544443_1526498_1868059_n.jpg

then it skips several weeks because we got more chicks and were too distracted to take pics
83336_idk1.jpg

83336_idk3.jpg

then they moved outside at 9ish weeks
83336_1000.jpg

83336_1111.jpg

then at about 12 weeks
83336_16.jpg

then she didn't let us go near her till she started laying so we couldn't get picks in between but here she is as she is now at 8 mos
