He didnt get to stay he was cast out of heaven. why God put us here where he cast Satan? anybodys guess. Probably so we could exercise choice.

What I meant was Satan to be gone forever like in death.

i agree where are those lost books(mental note research) I do know that it was decided about 400 a.d. To leave those books out because they created to much contraversy. LOL LOL LOL if they only knew them maybe they would have left them alone. Most of the NT matt, mark and so on were a composition of letters written to the various churches at that time. and about all that uncleanlyness. I know old farmers today that tell women not to go into the garden during their cycye. and the whole child birth pain, be real if a person can believe man was created from dust, its not that hard to believe he could take the pain away.

That time is yet to come hence the lake of fire.

I am starting to feel that the term "non-religious" is an oxymoron..... That really we all by genetic make up associate to a "religion" of sorts...even one being an Athiest is sort of a religion.
(I realize the concept is abstract....but...some how the term non-religious does not seem to apply to me anymore.

If the direction of this thread is an indicator of what defines a "non-religious" individual......

I have a question that I hope many of you can answer?? Why do so many people who believe differently than I do work to demote what I believe instead of elaborating on what they believe. and what kind of influences(experience, documentation, and so on) do you have for those beliefs.

For one because atheism is NOT a belief. It is a lack of belief in god(s). Atheism is NOT a religion it is a lack of religion. Atheists do not all have the same core values or the same reasons for non-belief. The sooner you wrap your brain around that the better, because most people out there assume we have this organized 'religious' thing going on when they honestly have no clue what we really are. There is no organization of what we are supposed to think.
You can not show concrete, irrefutable, scientific proof that there is a god to sway an atheist to your way of thinking. Continually trying to shove your belief system at everyone is not debate nor is it something atheists appreciate.

This thread was not for debate on the subject either, you want to debate it, try other forums for atheists/theists who have large sections just for such purpose. Want one? PM me.

Deb, I apologize if I stepped in where I shouldn't have, but I can't sit and just watch this any more.

My apologies to you. However this thread was started by someone who said "I believe God created man and man created religion. which I totally agree.

I am sorry I took the word "blather" out of my post and replaced it with the word "discussion". My statements are not intended to demote your beliefs or OTHERS opinions in any way. I just do not care for drawn out discussion and constant reference and quotation of a book I personally find no use for. There are 10's of thousands of other outlets to drawn out dialog on the bible. I had just hoped this thread was not going to be one of them.

Thanks for taking the "test". Interesting results hey?

On a final note: Here is an ancient Chines proverb for us all to contemplate...

If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck then it IS a duck....
