BTW, worst case scenario, if it turns out that things aren't quite as cleared up and paid for as you think, in the end YOU could always pay the stud fee for your foal, it would be an extra expense but as long as the dam checks out (you still want that DNA typing done...) the foal would thn be registrable.

Good luck, glad to hear things are becoming clearer,

Pat

Oh she paid it, thats what they told me. They refused to release the birth certificate until she paid for that breeding in full. And then they went ahead and certified mailed her the certificate. They told me that if something doesnt go right with it with her that they will gladly give me the certificate so I can go to fhana myself.

I dont know if I mentioned or not, but I guess the stallion owner is going to put her on the "do not breed" list.

I feel so vindicated.

Good job! If you need more Fresians, go to the stallion breeders and buy it from there! They have your interest best at heart!

It is not going to be a friendly day when you get your foal from this mare breeder. Just be civil and say no more than you have to.

Way to go, Chicken Fruit!

Oh which daddy (sire) was it for your new baby? Both stallions are goreous, just flat out goreous and true to type!

What threw me off is the name "Ster" for the mares. What does it mean? Sorry I do not read Dutch.

Excellent! I've been following your troubles and I'm so glad that they are going to be sorted out. I have always loved the Friesian breed and I know your issues were really starting to worry me!

The friesian breed is graded by how well each animal adheres to the breed requirements, confirmation, movement and temperment. 1st premie, 2nd premie, 3rd premie, ster, model, preferent, ect.

Ster means that the mare is the ideal type in every way, her foals are worth more because they are more likely to attain that level of perfection themselves when graded.

Anne 340 is my baby's daddy, and her dam is Ster.
