Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

My good for me thing I'm doing today is more yard work, probably push mowing, at least as long as I can stay conscious. Fridays are a bad day for me, Thur and Sat I work 24 hr shifts, so I don't ever plan to much for Fri, I'm ususally mostly brain dead then anyway. I also am hoping to do some yoga today, but that may have to wait until Sund. we'll see how the day goes.

Anyways, just checking in, no movement in weight, but I did very well actively this week. However, strawberries were ripe, and I PIGGED OUT!!!

Well, I knew I had gained weight...too much stress....put on two pounds.

I haven't had a glass of water in about two weeks. Just got off track. Try, try again!! Always happy to see someone else making progress though. Can't wait to see who it will be this week!

I am working pretty hard at it.. I do pretty good during the day.... even at night until I go to sleep... then our dog usually wakes me up around 2:30 . I wake up with this horrible taste in my mouth.... and next thing I know... I have opened the trail mix bag and ate some

My weight is still coming off.. BUT I want to stop this habit. I cut out everything extra I drink except for water, coffee, and very small amounts of skimmed milk.... I think I am going to go buy some crystal light to have in the frig to see if that will stop this late night trail mix raid.

OH and well... yesterday... I went to the beauty shop.... and well.. I now have short hair for the first time in 41 yrs. I love it...........and best part.... my husband loves it too. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he keeps telling me how proud he is of me for loosing the weight.

Phew! I spent about 2 1/2 hours just raking the yard where the kids play and about an hour picking up sticks. Not sure how many calories I burned, but I may skip my work-out video tonight, lol.

Not much exercise for me today unless we get some large pt's tonight. But I have been very good w/ my eating today. V8 for breakfast, lunch and supper were both the same quick and easy for work, a romaine salad w/ roast beef and a light vinegarette dressing (just a couple of tsps) and two servings of low fat no added sugar yogurt. I am on my second liter of water, so running a little behind w/ that, but not to bad.
