Which modle hovabator is it? I think it's the 1588 or something like that that is most talked about. How's the brinsea treating you? Lol

I think I have a 1602 Or something. I just went to check it again. It was 100.4 and while I stood there within a 5 min window it climbed to 101.7. Nothing in the room had changed. Its worse than my LG!!!!

My Brinsea is Amzing!!!! It stays between 99.5-99.7 never higher, never lower and its in the same room as my LG which jumps all over the place so my location theory is out the window! It sits on a shel like a beautiful picture fram next to all my farming books! It just tilted my way and says 99.7 and 32% humidity. My plans may need to change about putting these barnyard mix eggs in the Hovabator.

Nothing happening as of yet, however, it did take me till 530am to get the temperature back up to 99.5 after taking the turner out, I am EXHAUSTED!

I have a 1602 and I did ok with mine (hopefully)...We used to breed "bearded dragons" so I have had some experience with using it......Sorry you are having a time with yours...

Here's a chick fix for everyone in lockdown. These arrived this morning from Murray McMurray:

D'Uccles (Mille Fleur and Porcelain) and one Fayoumi:

Sending happy hatching thoughts your way --

I now have 13 chicks hatched and doing well. I had 14 but one was acting a little off and was dead when we came home from church. I am disappointed in my quail hatch though. Still only have 4 and none of the other 13 are pipping or moving.

. Oh well 4 more is still more to add to my other three. Hoping they are all hens!

Good luck with everyone going to lockdown! I forgot to mention that 2 more of my chick eggs are pipping!
