Anyone want to hatch with. Today is the big day!!!!!!!!!! (thursday)

I think its going to be just the one. I wasn't expecting a great rate as A.) they are pullet eggs B.) these are the first few eggs they laid of the year. I have some more that I know have better fertility set back. Along with some of my first Silkie eggs.

Congrats on your success. I would strongly reconsider your idea of doing dry incubation next time. Eggs need the humidity. I have 4 Little Giant styro incubators going with egg turners. I installed a fan in 1 this year and had a 78% success of the fertile shipped silkie eggs that I hatched last week. I kept the humidity up in the 50% range through day 18 and then up'd it to 60%+ for the final 3 days. I fill the bottom trays and add sponges next to the turner. It's easy to tell when they dry out and I use a indoor plant water can to resoak them. I like the fan because I think it keeps the temp more even. I might add fans to the other 3 bators.

Good luck to you!

Julie
