It could encourage ants and fly's.

x3.. If you want to give it still just use a small container that you can take out right when they are finished with it...

did i ever mention how i love the folks on byc thannx for ur responses guys. will do the separate bowl for the milk and juice. Thanks

Of course I must add... Do not forget the AVC daily for your self. I have a couple table spoons, with a couple table spoons of maple syrup, in a giant glass of ice water as my after dinner drink....

It helps the body with many things.. I feel great since I started drinking it some months back.

Still interested in how much Beekissed uses to alter the eggs, for sensitive people though...

Well.....I've been asked that before and I will give you my standard answer. One or two glorps! Now a glorp is like a glug but more between a splash and a glug.

Get that?

Word of caution: Do not use vinegar in metal waterers as the acid will corrode the galvanized coating and the metals will leach into your water.....this is a bad thing!

Here's a tip for if your birds won't drink the water.....leave it there until they have to. Once they get acclimated to the taste, they don't mind a bit.

That's sort of like folks who say their cats or dogs won't eat certain foods. Any animal that gets hungry or thirsty enough will eat or drink just about anything in due time!

Yup one or two glorps... According to my glorps and glugs measuring method I would have to say....two glorps is getting mighty close to one glug.

Ah yes the beauty of AVC it is not some man made dangerous medicine or chemical, where one needs to be overly worried.

When givng the chicks/chickens flax seed do you just sprinkle it out as is or grind it up? How much do you give

It increases omega 3's in the eggs and meat. Whole brown Flax has about 34% protein so it is a great protein booster to offset low protein treats.

I have read one should not feed more than 20% or the eggs can take on an off flavor.
