you hear that folks, that in itself is worth the trip!! LOL love ya cheryl.
my mailer list is getting long, i add a few a week atleast. i think it iwll be a fun summer, and in july and aug we will all enjoy the break a bit and be ready to go by the first week of sept. til its too cold to wear her chicken pants again!!

I know everyone is getting ready for the April 4 and the April 18 swaps but I have a question about the one for April 26.

Will anyone be bringing bantam hens? I know someone who would like to add some to her small flock - breed is unimportant as is age (they don't have to be pullets). I think silkies are the only kind that wouldn't be a good match since they don't perch at night.

Also, thinking ahead to May's swap, will anyone be interested in dark egg chicks? I have a shipment of cuckoo marans and welsummer chicks that are due around May 20.

Well, I am planning (depending on the hatch rate) on bringing some Mille Fleur d'Uccle, White d'Uccle, and possibly some white rosecombs. All st.run.
Also, some EE chicks and some mixed layers. Our roo is a Black Langshan, the hens are Black Giant, Americauna, Chanticler, and Cochins.

I definately want a dark egg chick, maybe one of each. Number depends on how many of my EE's turn out to be cockerals. I should definately know by then.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaay!
