I get to HOLD them!

and pet them and call him George!

EDITED to SAY: I HAVE TWO PIPPING!! I will have new babies soon!

Well, I got the two little duckies. Two didn't make it to hatch date and two died after pipping... I don't care what anybody says, I think I'm going to institute a new policy, anything not hatched 24 hours after pipping gets assistance. I have done it before with good luck. I tried non interference this time and lost 2 ducks I might have been able to save. Maybe if I were hatching 100s of chicks it would be different. But anyway, the two are eating and drinking and have some brand new little turkey poult hatchmates to cuddle with.

None of mine hatched. Not one started veining just kept them in because I had room but nothing

I have TWO BR turkey Poults so far! The other two have until Tuesday to do something. Last time I candled 3 looked great and one was moving but looked way behind in size so we'll see. I put a couple of 4 day old silkie chicks in with them to teach them how to eat and drink. Lots of marbles in the water.
I Have them on towels instead of pine so they dont eat anything bad!
I will post a pic in a little bit.

They are so much quieter than chicks!

oh please please please! won't someone take pity on me and tell me who sent me eggs for this swap? or at least the breed of ducks i have? i'm dying to know!

the eggs were marked 28 days and 35 days. i hatched 4 sweet little ducks out of the 28 day eggs, and 2 darling little muscovies out of the 35 day eggs.

i'm throwin myself on your mercy here!

ours are extremely imprinted. they follow us everywhere. Sugar hangs out around the house and waits on us and Buttons actually just hops up and sits in my lap! (she's a full grown big honking turkey!)
