April Egg Swap....Partners pending

BellLisamo, here's my crested duck. The other one doesn't have a crest. I guess that's what this is, just a little poof of feathers.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!! SO my "parent" ducks MUST have a crested gene! HOW CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!!!!

ok, next dozen i get, goes in my incubator! HAHAA


MISS JAYNE was sent 6 eggs, hope she gets a crest, otherwise you have a one of a kind!

Unfortunately none of my EE eggs hatched. This just has not been a good year for me to hatch. I had one evening I noticed the bator was down to almost 90 and noticed it got unplugged.

I got the temp back to 100 and gave them a couple of extra days in the bator before they went to the hatcher.

And they had sat in the hatcher 10 days and not a pip or a peep.

But maybe next spring I can try again. What we have in the bator now is the last batch we are doing this year.

But I do enjoy all the eggcitement of the swap.

I had 3 ducks hatch

-- I think one is a dwarf it looks like it was just hatched while the others are growing and getting big.

Ok - here are the 3 quackers - they were all hatched out the same time, notice the smallest one - I guess it is a dwarf

It is healthy and eats fine just 3 times smaller.
