I sold 7 today, one of them was one of my favorites. bummer, but, that's the way the egg scrambles, haha.

Here's my lone baby (and the friend I got from the feed store). In the end we're at 1/6 with 2 still in the bator just in case! Sadly it's looking like my hatchling is a boy - I think that white spot on the head indicates roo for a blue sexlink, correct?

Also, how scraggly is my feedstore chick? LOL! She had all of her tail feathers pulled out, her wings are loooong and scraggly like they've been pecked and pulled, and she walks around like a vulture.

I wish I could take pictures the way so many on here can. It's not my lack of ability so much as the camera just has that delay in it and by the time it actually snaps the picture the subject has moved or something. My son has a camera that take instant digital pictures. I should get a better on and save this one for still life shots. LOL!

So,"THANK YOU", to all of you who post all those lovely chick pictures. Maybe I should just go buy a better camera and a new Brinsea while I'm at it. However, I may not do another hatch until at least fall or next spring, depends on the pullet factor with this hatch.

I ended up with 9 blk copper marans that will go to a new home today and 5 white showgirls for me.

Now have a mix of 42 eggs in bator that I'm hatching for someone else.
