Okay that is four hundred and fifty seventh post on children "helping" with hatching (the number is probably closer to a thousand in here) and I'm just deeply grateful that my DD is 25 and actively helpful when she shows up.
We're planning a pallet coop build when she comes up next.
If they're not helpfully candling EGGs for you, they're helping you adjust temperatures, opening the bator or knocking it off. I'm just so darned grateful to be old and retired right about now.
If Erin broke my BBS rock or my turkey eggs I might do something ugly and felonious.
I'm just going to read these posts about children helping and shake my head.
