I set 75 of my eggs at 11 today. Some may be a little stale. I started collecting on the 12th up to today so the oldest eggs are 15.
73 are Black Penedesencas, 1 White Minorca and 1 Ameraucana as kind of a test. The Minorca egg will be the only one that will be easy to candle and it's 70 grams.

I also recieved 8 Pene eggs in the mail a couple hours later so I'll put them in tomorrow afternoon when they've settled. I was hoping to get mine in a couple days ago so I could stagger the hatches but I couldn't get the modifications done in time.
I think I just screwed up though. My hatcher will only hold about 50 eggs. I'll have to figure something out.

ok.... so if an egg is seeping I should throw it out? it does not smell and at first it just looked like calcium deposit on the shell... till I checked it and it was sticky.... and I found small bubbles coming out of the shell....

Yes, toss it!!!! It means the contents are under pressure.

I have 22 in with a hatch date of April 5th. I've seen movement in 18 of them. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I put 48 golden seabright eggs in, due to hatch the 14th of April!
The eggs were shipped, and a lot of the air cells looke horrid, but we will do what we can.
I think this is my last time trying shipped eggs.

I found 3 seeping eggs tonight, cracked them open and they were defiantly infertile or so scrambled in shipping they never had a chance. Bummer but hope at least a few make it to hatch day. I already ordered some lavender splash Ameracuna eggs as back up, I want chicks!

I'd never heard of the lavender splash before. Shoulda seen the look on hubby's face at my squeal as I looked them up. I'm sure by now he thinks I'm certifiable.
