And there are forums for people who keep endangered parrots like Macaws inside a cage the size of a refrigerator. Meanwhile people like me want to keep a poultry bird inside the whole house. Yeah that’s fairness right there.

It would be better if there was a website forum dedicated to INDOOR POULTRY birds, or a sub topic in this forum for poultry birds as indoor pets.

When I said indoor poultry I didn’t mean to say to raise a hundred chickens inside an apartment. I was referring to keeping one or two at the most of a poultry bird as a pet. Some people even have a Serama chicken as an indoor pet.

The opinions I need are supposed to be supportive to my goal. I do not appreciate any mean advice from people who claim they know everything.

Oh, boo hoo. What if I wanted to keep an alligator in my sink? People would tell me that’s a very bad idea, and I should listen. Look. I’m saying that for parrots, no parrot cannot be imported into the USA since 1992 due to international laws. The birds we have now in America as a result of captive breeding. Releasing parrots back into the wild wouldn’t work as captive birds do not know how to survive in the wild. So I guess we are stuck having captive birds in cages.

You’re going with that? Who are you, the head of PETA? Animals are happy when you give them an environment to thrive in. You’re planning on giving this poor duck an environment to die in. Away from the sun and grass. Why should that be ok?
