alright thanks!!No, I would never mix any hookbill with a finch. They can cause severe injuries due to the size and strength difference and much stronger bill.
Nice. So no Bourke's for me anywayThe Australian Bourke Parrot - like most Neophema Parrots, is one of the few parrots that are safe to keep with finches in a large avairy.
That means an avairy that is at least 1.8mtres high x 1.8mtres wide and 3.6mtres long.
The size of my large avairy where I have a Turquoisine parrot living happily with my zebra finches.
Do not however keep quail with them - they are not compatible.
30+ years of trial and (lots of errors) teaches you what will and will not work (and there are still birds that do not conform to the norm)
I think our aviary school be big enough! Uhhh with quail, are kings ok or is it no at all, BC someone on a discord server said they can live with like quails. The Australian Bourke Parrot - like most Neophema Parrots, is one of the few parrots that are safe to keep with finches in a large avairy.

Ohh ok! I'll get a pair of Bourke's I think. Hmm thank U so so so much for the advice!!It is one of those personality things. Depends on the parrot - most are good, and Bourkes are better than Turqs. Hence me moving the quail out from where my boy is.
