Are my pekin eggs dead?

Yea, definitely not normal looking candling. But...even if they have quit, they won't necessarily explode. Bacteria causes explosions. I've left known dead ones in on purpose, if they are holding other ones in position, so I'd leave them all in at this point.

The one with the huge white area is definitely concerning. Could it have leaked out? Maybe next time you candle, weigh it and a similar sized egg, and compare??? I'm wondering if the view is deceptive, and maybe the membrane has just pulled away from the inner shell. Grasping here.

Definitely going to weigh and compare when I get a chance. I really appreciate all of your help. I was seriously at a loss on what to do. Google doesn't always have the answers.. I needed an experts opinion! Thank you again so much.
Hopefully I'll have some precious duckies in a few days. I really am hoping I get a couple that survive. Fingers crossed.

Well, if the eggs are very dark in the day they are not supposed to hatch in that could possibly mean they are dead! But some eggs can hatch early like e.g some chicks can hatch in the 18th day of incubation instead of 21th day. But it's either if they're pitch black in the day they are not supposed to hatch, they are dead but if the eggs are like that in the 18th day or 20th that means there's a chick inside! So this happend to me too u know but they hatched :) I have like 20 Muscovy ducks so I hope this helped ;) goodluck with ur ducklings

Thanks for the reply, the ducks ate now 12 weeks old, alive and healthy. This egg was not dead and had a drake born!
