None of your birds are Dutch bantams; they are Old English Game bantams. Dutch bantams have bluish slate colored legs, white earlobes, and a slightly different body shape. Your birds do not have those qualities. Some of them do have the blueish slate legs, but they all have red earlobes, and most of them are not a recognized Dutch color variety.Do you think this one is a dutch as well? She is the only spotted chicken that I have and looks nothing like her siblings... Can the Old English be spotted?
Your spotted bird's color variety is known as "Mille Fleur," which means "many flowers."
I got 6 Bantam chicks back in April. They were sold to me to all be hens as babies, but recently three are starting to look like roos...
What do you think? They should be almost 18 weeks...
This one has the most prominent comb but is the most docile. it never picks a fight and has always stayed in the back of the flock...
I haven't seen any spurs starting on this one.
The bird on the left in this photo is the variety known as "Black Breasted Red", abbreviated "BB Red." The bird on the right's color is called "Crele" (sometimes spelled "Creole"). BB Red is also found in Dutch bantams, but in that breed, it is known as "Light Brown." Crele is also a Dutch Bantam variety, but only in Europe--it hasn't made its way to the United States yet.
