Im not sure about the large combs.. they just need to have bright red combs. My hens started laying at about 20 weeks.Much larger combs and they flopped over to the point they were almost covering an eye.

Yea I guess I should wait for a month or so and see what happensMy white leghorns just started laying at 21 weeks. The ones who started laying first have gigantic, flopped over combs that are bright red. Yours have a little bit to go - patience is key. They will lay.
