Are you looking for a dog?

I have read alot of posts where people are looking for a dog and where some people are against shelters or rescues. I just wanted to show a shelter in Athens, GA that faces huge overcrowding issues every day. Many dogs do not make it out of this place.

If any BYC'er is near Athens and is looking for a dog, please stop by and take a look. I think the adoption fees are very reasonable.

I think everyone should support shelters and reputable rescues. It's just that not all the private run facilities are equal.

And I personally adopt black dogs when I get one from a shelter. The older black females have a very high death rate in shelters. My favorite dog ever was a black lab cross that came from a shelter. She was perfect.
