Are you suppose to eat the first eggs?!?!?!

The first eggs have to be processed a bit different than the others. Before you can eat them you have to carry them around for several days showing them to everyone you know (with a glassy eyed "LOVE" look). You can kiss and talk to them too. Make sure you have LOTS of pics, then they are safe to eat.

Enjoy!!!!!! I got a first egg from my sweet little EE today and I think it is going to get the lovey treatment for at least a week before I can crack it.

What color did she produce? I can't WAIT til my EE lays!! And yes, I will probably walk around like a proud mama when she does lay.

It is a stunning medium green color. Soooooooo pretty!!! I need to get a pic or two posted of it on the "first egg" thread.

This is what I did with my 3 girls first 3 eggs!

I know I'm nuts, but I also know I'm in good company -- ha!

We blew them out and ate them, but preserved the shell for display.

That is EXACTLY what should be done with first and unusual eggs! Perfection!

Safe to eat afterwards - scramble away!
