LOL! I am not sure the above will cure my particular BABY itch, but it does cure my desire for more roosters.

Yes, that is a real site, custom made to fit your chicken's measurements, in your choise of fabrics. Ruth even made me a diaper for a bantam araucana.

good job ca! laree, i can sew you up a baby sling and you can carry Patch around while he's wearing his diaper, which you will have to change multiple times a day. and don't forget that lamb that is arriving soon that you will be bottle feeding, it will have to wear a diaper as well. it will be in the house as i recall. what print do you want?

Patchwork would kick my butt. I don't think he likes being made a fool of.

I am going to confess and hope nobody is calling the humane society on me... One of my roosters decided to get bossy and challenged me. I kicked him in the chest with the soles of my shoes in a forward-upward motion. This catapulted him 15 feet backwards but did not harm him in any way

. He has been very polite since and does not confront me, only shows me his side or back, never his front. Hope it lasts. He was 20+ weeks old though.

Thanks, yeah I read quite a few things and you are right, sooo many different opinions, I figured 3 months was a little young to be attacking me too!

Haha, a kick to the chest... glad it sorted him out! I did push my roo back with my hand but it just got him even more riled up and he charged, I was suprised at the force. I am going to give him a few months to change his attitude otherwise he will be dinner

You gonna let him beat you up for months???? Show him who's boss now or he may also attack an innocent bystander. Or a child.

Gardening question for everyone: I am still getting used to gardening in this climate, so I'm not really sure what to do. My summer stuff is about done, but it seems to early (HOT) for the fall stuff. I have heard you can garden year round here, but is this the right time to start anything? If so, what? What are examples of what you all plant and when? Thanks!
