Arizona Chickens

All my birds like them; everything has the shell.

Great !
Thank you!

It's my understanding that if they have grit available, the shell is O.K.
Am I right?

Thank you Gallo del Cielo for telling me about this forum. I live in Wittmann, AZ. Hello all. Anyone know where I can get more Silky chickens? I have one wonderful Partidge rooster I named Tumbleweed and one Partridge hen I named Sage. I want to have a nice flock. I found a beautiful white Hen at Pratts in the west valley location yesterday. I was soooo happy!! I named her Cotton! She is sooo awsome! I now want a black and a red and a buff.

Welcome fuzzy! If you email Sonoran Silkies, you'll find the silkies of your dreams.

Always good to see a new member!

Tumbleweed, I love that name! :-)

I was just going to ask if anyone had silky hatching eggs.

We can only have a few chickens, a very small yard in a trailor park. So I promised my family and myself, all that we do get would come from the fun of hatching our own instead of chicks.

I have hubby and a 14 yr. son, we've raised birds off and on over the years, and the fun of an egg hatching never grows old.

Hello:
I am looking to get some EGG laying chickens that are good with children around for my backyard. I'm on about a half an acre with about 60% of it in the back yard. I'm here around Central and Bethany Home Rd in Phoenix Arizona. Any body have any suggestions on which chicks might be the best breed for me to get?
thank you

You need to decide WHAT you want from your chickens, and then we can direct you better. Pets? Eggs? Companionship? Showing?
