Arizona Chickens

You all are so sweet! I don't want to leave this thread, I just figured since I got mad at them editing me for no good reason, then I called them freaking cry babies lol so I figured if they take out the fact I said to someone "your post was kind of rude" that they would kick me out the whole site for calling them cry babies  I'll be here as long as you all want me, and they don't kick me out! Lol
Anyhow we all have had our differences here but we get it and get past it, glad to know it's not just me!

I've posted in several other forums and was kindly told to start my own threads. They weren't very warm receptions.

There have been a lot of issues shared here not necessarily chicken related, and the support has been great. For some reason, those other forums are not as friendly.

We do have lives outside of our beloved chickens, and it doesn't hurt to vent on occasion. Thank you, Forum!

Well, you can still read the other threads, and still talk to us over here.

I was told the same by someone, who then answered in my thread
I don't let them keep me out of other topics, I just ignore them and move past their posts like they aren't there. If they don't exist, they don't bother me:tongueto them

Oh no, @meetthebubus don't go! I have had a mod take out entire chunks of a thread I started about tapeworms a while back, and I felt awful. I feel like I will get in trouble for even talking about it, but basically myself and a few other users were put through the ringer for using chemical dewormers. You are safe here in the AZ thread, and you shouldn't leave! What you said was so mild. You are a fabulous contributor and I need you in case my Waffles ever needs BO specific help :hugs You are very welcome for speaking up on that thread and I would do it again if given the chance.

Imagine if we were all alike how boring it would be. That's what diversity is all about, getting to know others who are different than you. "We are all the flowers of one Garden." Also don't need others who get their drawers in a twitch! LOL.....
You beat me to it and my sentiments exactly..Don't get your BVD's in a bunch or your nities in a knott!

Really! I like being a one of a kind! Ain't nobody else like me! :gig

I have gotten beat up before because I gave an alternative to killing predators. Now I will only PM the OP if I want to say something.
Caveman does not kill anything. I do not need to start arguments.
Some folks don't have the common sense to do their homework and learn how to predator proof their property. Predators usually get discouraged after several failed attempts to bag a quick chicken dinner, whether it be by air or land, only to move on.

Ridding predators doesn't necessarily mean killing, and the same applies to "Culling".

From my readings, it seems that people with large properties are more "in tune" with their land and know how to deal accordingly, whether it be large guard dogs, mules, electric fencing etc. Those living close to, or in town, seem to let their guard down thinking that predators don't live in the city. That stray cat or loose running dog could be considered a predator, and no telling what else is out there. I'm not taking any chances.

Sorry for the essay. Should I start another thread?
