Arizona Chickens

Thank you so much. Unfortunately, we got a bad MRI report today and are heading back to the doctor on Thursday to try to figure out where to go from here. It's been a rough year.
I'm so sorry. I wish your family the best and hope you can find some peace/comfort in tending to your beloved chickens during this tough time :hugs

View attachment 1471001 We had to change motels. The first one looked like a murder took place in it. Complete with complementary fly swatter.

Haha yelp review time!

@BlueBaby I think that is a fantastic idea! Could be a good way to rehome some extra roos, and if nothing else, you get to wear a custom t-shirt.
@meetthebubus I wish so badly they could understand! I keep telling her the wrap is better than foot surgery...silly chickens. How long did you keep the PRID on? Sorry I think I asked a few weeks ago but I forgot
@Suzyqschickens The feed store in Marana (Triple L) used to take in roosters, I think the owner still does. I can call and ask them if you want. He lets them all live on his property. I know it is a far drive for you, as it is closer to Tucson, but it might be worth looking into as a last resort. Rooster road trip!
I did/do the prid every other day when I see rawness or change like it's opening I change to antibiotic and wrap
The 4 boy's that are out there loose in the yard are something else. One of the White Breese boy's get's forced away from the food by the other 3 at feed time. Then he come's crying to me for more food instead of standing his ground. :he

Haha too cute sweet boy looks like he uses his brains rather than brawn sounds like a keeper

I get it, too many roos can be a problem, but you never know he does sound like a sweetie

That's true, and I hope that someone will want to take him. Since I have so many here (4) to pick from, they can ask me about the personalities if they are interested. The 2 Blue Australorp cockerels always hang out together.

Awww man 2 am and thunder awoke me bc my sweet ee's are out roosting I didn't put them inside, it is raining but not heavy so hopefully they'll be ok I don't think a bit of rain will harmmthem right? It is hot out.... stubborn ee's

I'd go shine a light to see if they want to jump inside the coop but there's lightning I'm not getting myself struck for my feather babies

Good news I've sold 100 eggs,,,, 100 more to go and I got 15 yesterday including a EE double yolker
