Arizona Chickens

But, I have enough ants to fill up a dozen Dorkings!:he

Those ant's are always out thick after the rain. That's the best time to find the hill's though, as they are trying to re-build them, then they start gathering new food for it. They have to feed the queen and all of those little hatchling's from the queen. That's why I'm out there after the rain's with my Permethrin 10 solution.

Same here for the hills sprouting in the driveway. It is a never-ending battle.

But where will you put your tiny little car, if you have all of the chicken's in the driveway getting the ant's? :gig
Tiny car is safe from chickens in the carport, on cement to not have the ants move in! Once, in another house here in Prescott, we put a car cover on my husband's nice Infinity because it was under a tree that was dripping sap. The car did not move much, we were riding bikes and walking everywhere, until the Monsoon rain came. So we did not want to walk in the rain and took the cover off the car, to find it colonized by ants! Gross! Never even thought it would get ants, in the desert that is not an option, too HOT in a car!
