Crossing the Road
They are laying big nice eggs, no matter how hot it is. The one from the "Crossing my Red Rangers" thread is noticeably bigger than her 1/2 sister. I think a cross back to a red bird may or may not be sex-linked, I will find out. She grew faster and larger than her hatch mate, I hope her chicks will get some of that. Desert surviving NN Dorkings with cockerels big enough to eat at 14 weeks old would be interesting. With all the heat waves, even up to Seattle, breeding for survival in the heat is something we all need to think about.Those one's that you got from me seem to be doing good over there. I like getting update's on them from time to time.
