Arizona Chickens

I made the chickens a chicken swing today. They're very skeptical. They also got a new pile of leaves that they had a nice time spreading out!

@meetthebubus that's so nice to hear! I'm always nervous they'll end up being roosters. But both my BOs have that fluffy saddle, so that makes me feel good! I can't tell them apart except for their leg bands.

Lol @SonoranChick is going to be scared of having a giant baby! I had big babies, too, but I'll tell you from experience that most of the time, the baby (big or small) is just the right size to fit through mom. Mother Nature is mostly looking out for us on that one.

I don't mind any of the advice, or stories! The blood pressure issues just started recently. It had been really good up until week 36, then started to slowly rise. I'd be more upset if she was super early, but I'm ok with 5 or 6 days ahead of schedule. She fully cooked lol

Wishing you all the best on the baby! I hope that you will be able to have someone stop by your house after the baby is born that can help you if you need it.

@Geranium yeah, mine didn't get names until after 2 months or more because i didn't use leg bands so once they started to get red in the face, (hormones coming a littlte) they started growing different characteristics that helped tell them apart. there was once a time where callie and clucky looked so much alike that i had to look at their eyes to tell them apart because callie has a black dot on her left eye... but now they look different so it's easy... lol
