Arizona Chickens

That's interesting. Luckily I have tons of old feed bags to reference for ingredients. I'll have to keep an eye on my brand and see if the ingredients stay the same.
Yes and one thing he touched on, was that the label still showed the amounts of methionine, lysine and cysteine that the food should have, but the knowledgeable chicken people said that the feed must not have had that much---because when they switched brands, the birds immediately resumed laying. Due to supply chain shortages, wars, etc.

Happy new years everyone! I though everyone was away for the holidays, I somehow wasn't getting updates about this thread.

My olive egger resumed laying this morning after her "molt" of a few feathers and a month-long break. The legbar-based easter egger/green egger stopped a couple weeks ago.
And here I thought that you were the one that was on vacation. Well at least you got an egg today, huh?

Dumor and Producers Pride are the two brands of feed specifically mentioned in the video Bluebaby shared. I haven’t ever used those brands so can’t speak to any issues with them.

@springvalley123 glad you’re back to getting eggs. My girls stopped for their molt, some looked better than others, but seem to be back in the swing of things.

Way less than a dozen eggs in December.
So far in January 4 eggs from about 24 layers.
I moved my 4 Yard Hens into the Greenhouse for the winter onto a raised bed on New Year's Eve. They seem to like it and I'm sure the garden will like it in a few months too. They don't know how lucky they have it to be out of the latest storm. Had maybe an inch of snow overnite and rain yesterday made windchill almost unbearable to me.
