Hey Laree, If I get myself 10 Lavender Ameraucana hatchings eggs want to help me out? Haha.
I planned on them for April and after but the breeder has got themselves some fantastic luck and her rooster is going at it.

Its cool to see so many SCA members on the list! My husband and I used to be very active, but real life and kids have kept us from being as active the last few years.

For people who are looking for chicks, Pet Club, the one on Country Club, has chicks right now. And rabbits, but who cares about rabbits.

I didn't ask what breeds they were, as I was in a bit of a hurry. Wonder of wonders, they actually had grit, although they were out of oyster shell.

Morning all! Went to the Ostrich Festival yesterday. We were there from 2pm-9pm. I never did get any sleep yesterday, so I am hurtin'. When did I get old? When?!! Also, I bought two EMU eggs. The guy said they were fertile and were fresh, maybe I could just pop them in the incubator... Just kidding, what on earth would I do with an emu?

ETA: Here are the two "surprise" hatchers from yesterday. I am VERY excited about the little white-chipmunky one. She is my first chick from my fav hen Runt, from under Patch. I wonder what it will look like!

It is so nice out today YEA!!!!...maybe I will get something done...I didn't sleep much last night ,I am on cow watch, I wish that she would just have her baby already..also I have a cow that I am babysitting...just got her back again yesterday and she is just unhappy and when they are un happy the whole world knows about it.

Laree--Emu eggs are really cool looking, I have a friend up here that raise and hatches emus...they are a pain....very protective..also nice chick pictures

I got so much work done! YEAH! Today I took nine 60lb bags of sand and emptied them in the coop.
Mixed in some DE and hay for the nest boxes. It's almost time they get their butts out of my room.
Bathed the dogs and got a few hits for the rest of the small animal stuff I'm selling on CL too.

Today is going great, hows everyone doing?

Oh, edit because I forgot to mention my sister made me some awesome lunch. Ham, egg and american cheese melts.

I should do a butchering thing this fall up at my house, we know how to do all of it and even have a plucker...you can come and camp...and we can eat pizza for dinner

I have NEVER wanted to eat chicken right after butchering them...
