Referring back to our conversation earlier; Here's an example of the hackle and sickle feathers that will show up on a roo, plus the larger, dark comb - this EE is about the age of the ones you got from me (it's 11-13 weeks of age in this pic -according to an older post, OP got them as little chicks in mid-march)

So make sure you are seeing the right pictures. pullet 1 and 2 are VERY similar...
