I hope Giffords comes out okay. I feel so bad for the victims and their families. The kid that was killed... ugh. Sad

My second silkie has been sitting in the nest box all day. She might be broody. I don't feel up to dealing with more eggs so soon after the Lonely Only chick.

The 9 year old little girl that was killed was a 3rd grader at my son's school.

On a chicken note, I could use some local help with two sick chickens. Looking at the "Medical Issues" thread, it appears I probably need a bacterin and maybe also an antibiotic. The recommended bacterins are: Tylan, Tiamulin, LA200, Baytril, and Denagard. I am in Oro Valley. (NW Tucson) Does anyone know were I can find any of these? The sooner, the better. The feed store in Catalina doesn't carry them and Carter's (on Wetmore) is closed till Monday. I'm not sure I have that long. I'd also be interested in ANY vetrinarian in the Tucson area that treats chickens. (Preferably at a reasonable price.) Our small animal vet laughed when I asked about chickens and didn't have any suggestions. Many thanks...in advance.

I just finished watching ALL of his YouTube videos. NOT ONCE did he ever mention Sara Palin NOR the Tea Party. Not one of them would ever point to a person right of center.

if anything the video would point to a young man that is mentally insane.

Whoa there. I wish I had a link to the local segment, but I don't. The guy is insane, but to say that he's a leftist doesn't make much sense. He's not really even conservative. He's just crazy. I'm just relaying what I heard here. Wish I hadn't now.
