There's an outrageouly expensive No Corn No Soy brand from I think Oregon or Washington that some folks on hte Permaculture Guild use. I don't remember if it is organic or not, but probably is. I will say I am very ingtrigued by the ingredients; but with as many birds as I have, I can't afford $25+ per bag.

Theres a place in TX selling a no soy, they said they have 10% corn in it. But no-one has it here yet and I can't pay shipping.

http://www.azurestandard.com/shop/product/1044/ $28.35 per 50lb; supposedly delivery to specific drop point is free? and there are several in the Phoenix area? The information was posted on the permaculture website about a year ago, but I pulled up the price just now.

UNBELIEVABLE. You are correct. 5 boys and 1 girl. Not good odds.... but you can Craigs list them, I sold almost all of mine from $5 to $15 each.

I had 6 boys and 3 girls from Easter hatch... I saved a blue wheaten with nice BLUE legs and I save a splash wheaten that is going to be a real looker and will replace my current splash roo that I bought from Peachick.

I sold two of the pet quality girls and saved the one with the best muffs and beard.

Well, I think about 90% of my barred rock chicks are boys

I'm not getting even a nibble off Craigs list.

Wow. Expensive.

Not sure if this is the correct place.... BUT
I'm in Tucson and I have extra baby chicks! $6 each, there are buff orpingtons, RIR, and a leghorn.
If anyone is interested, just let me know, these guys need new homes ASAP

Thanks

Wow, I was actually looking around for some pullets. I am very interested in the BO and RIR... But again, I need parental consent before I go buying more animals.
