The cockerel seems fine today. I can't hear any noises when he breathes, he hasn't sneezed again, there is no dried mucus around his beak. He ate 2 scrambled eggs, a few scoops of plain yogurt, and some brown rice. I'm confused.

Great! Maybe he was just trying to con you into buying meds, and he is probably right. You will be glad you did when you really need them...​

So the integrating the pullets and hens went ok. The only problem is that the Red pecked a sore area on my Marans pullet. I put Blu-kote on her, but do I need to separate her now, or should I separate the Red? And if I separate the Marans, should I put another pullet with her? What a pain.

We were thinking of getting a few new chicks...... anybody know who has chicks this week? Mesa Feed Barn said they won't have any more until the end of September.
