Arizona Chickens

The PRs are supposed to mature faster. That's why they are mostly feathered and the others are behind. My Australorps are just a little behind but my GSLs are way behind(especially the one I think is a roo).

Hello everyone! My pullets are now almost 25 weeks and NO EGGS!

Any hints to get 'em laying? Maybe I have eggless chickens.

Put a locker mirror on the grill and roll it by the coop a few times.

My Ameraucanas JUST started laying FINALLY (2 weeks ago) when they were 32 weeks! UGH...talk about waiting...I was going crazy. I was convinced that at least one of them was a closet roo.

But now I have one laying beautiful blue eggs & one laying blue-ish with a tint of green eggs. Now I can relax

Are they squatting when you pet them yet?

Are the combs and wattles bright red and seemingly growing overnight?

Sometimes it takes longer than we like but they will get with it soon I think, especially if above questions answered with yes.

I had a talk with them about freezer camp and freeloaders, but they just looked at me like they didn't know what I was talking about.

The combs and wattles are bright red sometimes. 3 are Ameraucanas and don't have much of a comb to speak of. But their faces turn bright red, almost like they are bleeding. My Marans get red, too, but nada, zip, ziltch, nothing! They didn't look so red today. Is it normal for the redness to come and go like that? I haven't noticed squatting when I pet them, they mostly try to run away. I think they're scared I'll hand them over to the kids!
