Arizona Chickens

If anyone can get some eggs to fuzzybird she can have them for FREE.. I know I have over 8 might even be 24 and they are similar to what she was trying to hatch from me but different roo...

Can anyone help????

If I just HAPPENED to have some fertile Blue Laced Red Wyandotte eggs, is someone willing to incubate them, or do I have to bite the bullet and get an incubator? The Brinsea Mini EX looked good but pricey...not that I've been looking.

But remember...I know NOTHING about incubating and I'd probably kill 'em all.

I know what you're talking about. I had the opportunity of seeing a NURSING student faint in the ER because someone was bleeding. Boy did she pick the wrong career...

Blood doesn't bother me much, but when it is mine, I get kind of concerned.

I also am roosterless, but I perceive an economic opportunity here. Would it not be possible to start a "Rent a Rooster" business? Rent the bird out a week at a time for stud service.

By the time the neighbors get around to complaining the rooster has done his business and moved on to the next stop.

But then there is the danger of transmitting diseases from flock to flock. I am going to have to think about this.

Rent A Hen processes the birds their customer's don't keep.

Sounds like a great idea for those of us with extra roos

Thanks for the clean eyes idea. I searched the emergency/cures tread and it was pretty sparse for information.

Clean with saline and then use either neosporin or tetramicine was what I found.

The lady at B-B feeds said to use duramyacine in the water.

(yes my spelling sux)

Thanks guys, I think if I can get some eggs again from Aurorarose for the Hatch along I will do that. Rather keep with the tiny birds. I had such good luck with them also! 11 our of the 18 I got I think is pretty darn good for a Still Air Bator! The problem is I live a long way from Mesa.

Want to share some pictures of my buff chicks Sassafrase + ButterCup that are now 19 weeks old. One picture you will see my black silky Tulip. The other big Rooster is Hawk Eye, we named, after he turned out to be a rooster and not a hen. Was suppoised to be a auorconus said the feed store. So you Wise ones is he a EE roo or what? If he was bred to any of the hens would a hen chick of his lay green eggs?
