Well, the problem is, we're only allowed to have a rooster if the rooster doesn't cause a 'noise disturbance'. I think the only way that we might have a problem is with the morning crowing, but my husband had already started building a cage to keep him inside at night (and more importantly, in the early morning), so I think we should be ok. The really annoying thing is that we were already doing this, and would have TOLD them we were doing this, if they'd bothered to talk to us and work out a solution like reasonable people, instead of calling animal control.
Oh yeah keep him,
You are doing it all right!! We all have one or two annoying,
irritating same as you " do nothing" kind's in our neighborhood...
We have told all of our neighbors about our chickens..
Plus if ours turn into roo's we told them we would rehome
them... Some people just don't know how to communicate.
What do you think they would say if you went and knocked
on their door and asked them if the roo is disturbing them.
Of course,
In a nice way with fresh eggs and smile.. They might be
Dumbfounded.. Since they have no neighbors that like them.
Well keep us posted..
