ARKANSAS Chicken or Eggs SWAP

Several feed companies have done recalls. We are dealing with a perishable item. Many things can go wrong.

However, there is no excuse for customer service.

We deserve good customer service!

I am ill with the time and money and chicks loss. I spent a lot of money on eggs and shipping. I called but they never got back with me. Don't figure they will. I said my peace with them and they know I normally spend 300.00 amonth with them on feed and other stuff. I just love that store. But I can't afford to lose anymore chicks so I have to stay away from the Ranch Pro feed.

Oops, I'm retired. Let me rephrase that, I worked hard for my retirement money.

OMGoodness that is so funny. I stand corrected. I love it! Oh heck I just don't know if I can keep up with the Jone's (Hall's) and put mine in the living room. My husband would flip out. Heck wait till he finds out that the really fat chick is a bronze turkey

. I have no idea how I am gonna explain that one to him.

Actually, I've been to his house... they are in the living room! Catherine loves the chicks. It's the big ones she's not too fond of.

Mine are in the shop and hubby doesn't really even want them there, but he hasn't kicked them out yet.

This is a few pics of what I am bringing to Rison for sale. One roo and 8 hens came from an Arkansas BYC member as RIRs.
4-5 months old I'm thinking.

and 1 Roo and two Plymouth Barred rock hens.

And I have 2 pullets (shown above) They came as extras in eggs I bought from A BYC member. But I have NO idea what they are besides lovely, calm, and gentle.

We will not be able to attend Rison show after all.

However, we did send a dozen Orpington eggs for the silent auction. 6 Buff and 6 Blue.

Orpington hatching eggs available today only! We have donated 6 Blue/Black Orpington and 6 Buff Orpington hatching eggs to the silent auction at the Rison, Arkansas -1st Annual Backwoods Benefit Poultry Show March 3, 2012

So drop by the show today and place a bid on our hatching eggs. The eggs are there (though we will not be).

The Rison show was a lot of fun. Got to spend a lot time talking to "chicken folk" and looking at some nice birds. Ethan had Reserve Modern in the Junior show and he came in 3rd over all in Showmanship. I'm really proud of him for doing that well against all those older kids. The judge said that Ethan "blew him away".

You should be ashamed of yourself! Chicks should never be held in a guest bathroom! We keep ours in the living room! Its "friendlier"! Second class citizens are sent to a guest bathroom. Prize chicks deserve the living room!

That's right. Mine stay in the living room till about 4 weeks old. They get better care, and a lot of comments from people "guests"
