Well Jim arrived with one of my chicken coops and I must say it is a wonderful coop. We are VERY happy with it. I'll have to take pics in the morning. I just hate he won't get home till after midnight and it pouring down rain. Hope you and your son make it home safely Jim. You did an excellent job on the coop. Thank you very much. Worth every penny.

Just got home. Its 12:30 AM. Jacob slept most of the way. Severe storms missed us mostly, but lots of heavy rain.

You are most welcome. See you in a few days.

Tuesday we have the Sears warranty man coming to at least inspect our riding mower. He will be here between 8 and 5

We are also relocating our A/C unit so we can install a portable building as a bedroom addition to the house. Its moveable when we find our farm and move our mobile home. Catherine scheduled him for Tuesday as well.

Meanwhile......

We are getting quite a few eggs in bantam and large fowl Orpingtons and Wyandottes. PM for more info.

Wow, that looks nice! I thought she was getting two of them.

Very high winds yesterday. Our trailer is a 5x8. So are the coops. It was safer to transport one at a time.

the spot she has for these are under some shade trees and against a privacy fence. Can't wait to take photos of both coops in their new home.

Had a very successful swap at the Benton Farmers Co-Op Saturday.
Moved everything that I had to sell. There were alot of poultry there and about everybody was selling out of what they had brought with them.

Looking forward to the next one in May.

May 12th.

Near Mena/DeQueen:

I need 5 or 6 chicks of any standard size egg laying type and a kid-friendly roo to go with them. If I had a preference it would be for barred rock, black stars, or buff orphingtons, but I really just want a few good egg-laying hens to for my flock. Nothin special. Mixed breeds are ok. I don't want to deal with shipping and would prefer just to pick them up. Call me at home @ 870-387-5812.

I have two 13 week old Large Dark Cornish cockerels. I received some eggs to hatch from a breeder in South Carolina, these are the only two that hatched. I have no pullets to mate them too so I have decided let them go. They are looking pretty good and even look like they may end up with correct eye color.
$15 each.
