Arkansas folks speak up.........

Are they all bantam sized? That could help narrow it down. But I agree, I have a mixed flock, no breeds just a barnyard mix. It's always fun to see what actually hatches.[/quote

Nope. I have Lf and bantam. I'll check for additions tomorrow. I worked the election today so hubby did chicken chores.

I think that they are about shut down for the year.

If you hear of anything let me know.
I will. Our local one did not have their fall sale so my timing is off. And now I have a crazy girl who hid from me and should be hatching any day now. Just what I need, some more babies before winter!

Welcome! Are you currently selling any young hens? I am in Benton.

Well,

My broody has 5 fluffy chicks that I was able to see so far. She had 7 eggs under her so not sure if the other two are "in-process" or I just didn't get a peek at them all. She is still sitting tight which is good with the potential weather that is coming in tonight. She is in a good dry location to ride it out. I will have to keep an eye on her tomorrow to see if she gets off the nest.

Since she snuck off and claimed this clutch, I have no idea how far apart they are in development. I have the incubator up and running in case I have to scoop up the last to and finish them for her.
