It sounds like the weight loss piercing I was going to try a few years ago. I never did it cause ima big CHICKEN.

Its not the little strip of cartilage, its the big hole in the middle, you know the really thick part? Don't feel bad about not knowing what it is. I used to have just two little holes, now I have my one in my nose, five in my ear lobes and the conch of my ear. Two of them I can fit a sparpie marker in the hole. My mom hates that!

I work at my daughter's tattoo shop. Mosquito Beach Tattoo Company, in Monticello, AR. My part of the business is called Mom Pierces. Believe me, I didn't know what half of them were before I started studying it either. And now, I've pierced half of them. My daughter's ear lobes hold earrings 3/4 inch around, and they are small compared to some.
