Arkansas folks speak up.........

DANG! You must have some acreage. My welshie started laying so eventually I may let her sit on her eggs and hatch them out. I think you can get cheaper GROWN call ducks at the beebe flea market. I might be mistaken but I think they were 2 for $20 which is cheaper when you consider all the feed and months to grow them out. Hey if you go May 10th then I will have Welsh Harlequin Ducklings that aren't related to ours. I will have 4 extra (feed store ordered them in so I could avoid shipping).
still having decided on day I want to go and my friend Jennifer was going to bua couple of call ducks seen them went to get money out of her truck and when she got back guy was sold out :-( plus I like growing out animals I feel like I get to know them better

Super excited today :) guy here in Cushman came over to buy some chicks I hatch and now I am hatching royal palm turkey eggs andpekining eggs on the halves with him he will bring the eggs over once a week and when they hatch time comes we split whatever hatches super excited and I only have a acre of land but all of its now fenced and being seperated into different pens for my breeding stock of pure animals and mixed layers :) he also brought over 2 quail eggs I could just have never hatched quail but figured its just two eggs might as well try

. We wanted room to stretch and moved from the "city" to a more "country" setting. I LOVE it "out here" and have added raising chickens/ducks along with my country boots and Jeep

Wow, I'm happy for you! Also way to make the most of it. When we buy a new house its going to have some acreage!!! I know, we just bought a house, but the next one!

@nayeli I think the muts are prettier a lot of the times
The look of the NZ creeps me out, I don't like the red eyes. Thats why when getting a rabbit when it was red eyes or a white and grey rabbit I took the white and grey one!

Okay had a crazy chicken well duck momment this morning woke up at 7am to no power and incubator saying 85 degrees so gathered up my 13 duck eggs in the incubator and put them in my bed under my arms and under my belly till the lights came back on at 1030 am lol I knew god gave me fat for a reason and its to save duck eggs from the cold hahaha

This is Friendly. I don't know what breed she is, but she is very sweet..This is a pic of her at just a few days old.
.This is one of my bantam roos. I am not sure about the breed, but thinking Black Cochin.
.One of my RIR's and another unidentified breed chick named Peep sitting on their new roost..Left is an EE and right an EE and a Light Brahma.
.Left-Blue Andalusian, Right-Polish

Both of these are of my little blind girl who is a Light Brahma named Matilda. I know this is a lot of pics, but I have a lot of babies. This is not even half. I'll have to show off some more later. I apologize for the picture quality. They were taken with my phone. Plus the red light in the brooder made them all kind of pink looking. I hope you all like my babies. I am very proud of them.
