In the Brooder
I'm gonna have to do something with this next generation because mine is now the father of these.. I guess I could just buy eggs or chicks then eat all these eggs once these are old enough to lay.... He is a great rooster

I'm definitely keeping them now. My poor cat will just have to keep running.I love that about them... 2014 when I got them I had several moccasins around and copper heads... both breeds had many babies.... we saw them several times... I was concerned for my chickens and other pets... the one day I saw them gathered on something then one had it running. .. it was fun to watch.. I don't see many anymore
It's awesome. . I almost bought a Billy to help with the snakes... no need...
Hello new to the site but had chickens first time I owned them last year bought must of them grown and did good for 1 1/2 year. we recently moved and brought the chickens with us I let them free range with feed option after we moved they did their usual thang and about 2 weeks later they all left (11 hens 1 roo and 1 hen turkey)don't know where they went their is some wooded areas behind the land so I thought maybe they are back there nope its been about 2 months now and all I got left is 1 rir hen she still laying like she was sooo idk maybe someone grabbed em up soo my older son (his 10) like chickens as pets he carries them petting them which is fine but the one that is left is his favorite but he wants more after doing more research I think we are gonna order some buff orphanington and I'm gonna build a pin and rebuild their coop u know the stuff I don't like about the older one and make better type deal
