oh dear, w o w, I'm so sorry about that happening, and you must be so glad that your son is home right now. I read the yahoo news obsessively, and after a day like today (6 nato troops killed), I wait and worry, and hope that my husband can figure out to call me and let me know he's okay... I swear, worrying and waiting at home is probably worse than anything else i can imagine. My heart is with his friends and family, and I pray he makes it out of this okay.
eta: My husband finally emailed me. he's fine. I send up prayers for everyone overseas and at home, who is either at risk, or worrying.
