The simple answer is yes! BUT, just because he is pure, doesn't mean he is show quality. My suggestion is to take him to a fair show first. They are less competitive and feature more hatchery quality birds. Ask the judge what he likes and dislikes about the bird. Then, if you'd like to get into showing, I'd suggest getting a Standard of Perfection from the APA website. It will have the standard for Barred Plymouth Rocks and you can learn exactly what he should look like.
