Like any food there can be times that it's tasty and times where it's discusting. It's all down to how it's cooked or perhaps what it's cooked with. Take steak for example, when a steak is well done it's utterly discusting in my opinion but when it's cooked to medium rare it's extremely tasty. Same food product but different opinions on it due to the way it's cooked.

Asparagus is sometimes good and sometimes bad meaning I am neutral.
