Aspirin question for turkeys

Hey there! I have a bunch of turkeys, mostly heritage, but I have three 3.5 year old broad breasted turkeys that are very dear to my heart. They're all in good health, but two of them have some joint inflammation and general soreness. For a while, I gave them 7.5mg of Meloxicam three or four times a week, but I recently ran out, and the prescription pills I had were for an ancient sheep who's passed away. I spoke with a friend in the veterinary field who suggested that aspirin would achieve the same effect, but be less harmful for the liver than Meloxicam. My question is, how many milligrams of aspirin should I give them for soreness and inflammation relief? My guess is that they're both a tad over 30 pounds. They still exercise and free range regularly. Thanks!!
