Assisting chick to hatch

Kim can you try to raise your humidity up to 70%?

I noticed when you open your egg for your chick it looked oddly dry.......maybe it would help?

Good luck !!!!

i was wondering what i should do--- i lockdown 1 out of 5 needed too saturday (the other four didnt make it to lockdown)

yesterday i have tons of movement with that one -- no pips (not even today) and i dont see much at all of any movenment

worried about this one!!
what should i do?

that picture is a Turken chicken and I love them.

When I have pips and no chicks pipping egg I will kindle the egg see if bill in egg. Put the egg to my ear.. listen. If I hear tap tap tap or peep peep peep and see bill I know that chick is ready to pip. I will kindle and pip hole with hammer to crack egg and the peel opening. Then I will see for bill and check if chick is ready to come out. Usually I give them at least 30 min to get used to breathing air and the change.

I try to pull humidity up. I even use a spray bottle and mist the eggs. I have a hovabator and I got a better temp and humidity check. i will try to raise humidity.

I need to count them. I think i got 45 hatched so far. It is little while in between incubators and hens.

After a chick is helped sometimes takes him hour or two to get his strength. I just put them back in incubator and will act like one you didn't help soon. If weak baby I give them drinks of sugar water.
