Assisting chick to hatch

I trade sitting hens eggs all the time. They never know the difference. I even will in pinch steal all their eggs and give them new ones. If you set her too long is hard on her though

I am getting a few bantys 2 this morning left. The others didn't hatch for some reason. I set the ones you sent me last night in my hovabator. I just ended up with a bunch of explosive eggs under the 3 setting hens with 1 baby. I will take pic of them but I was disappointed. Happens sometimes. All yours started to make then some started to fizzle. I am certain your eggs are good just post office shook them too much. One little banty got a swollen eye I hatched and I have been doctoring her. She is little hen. I have her in box and she cries for me all time to hold her. Her mother must be real pet. It is little black banty. I am going to have to think of name for her. I will take some pics of what I got to hatch and send you but this was not best hatch. In my big house i have over 70 chicks and Some of those eggs I think were yours too. I had set eggs under setting hens, and incubators cause I had ordered several. But I will take chick pics probably tomorrow and post them

In one of the pictures you posted it seemed like a I saw a little black bantam chick. Her mother might be Raven. Raven is a Black cochin mix hen, she is a real sweety pie.

I'm sad your hatch didn't turn out better!

I order 2 groups of cornish eggs 1 set I got from backyard chicken and not one hatched all were explosive after 1 week of setting. The second group I got off ebay and they hatched pretty good. I got several hatched from your eggs and I tried to get pics. Some of yours is in other building too I will take pics my next days off so you can see them. I built a cool building and pen for babies

I'm going to steal the little muffed chick!!

I have 4 broodies and so far they've hatched out 9 adorable chickies. My Barred Rock Bantam hen Bonnie hatched out 5 Black muffed chicks so far..they're so tiny and cute!

My broody hen just hatched I had to help 2 out but I took all the bantams and regular chicks and she took them. I will take pictue tomorrow and show you. The Cornish had pneumonia when they were hatched and i got only 1 brahma out of 24 eggs and it had pneumonia when hatched but is doing better. It can drink water now without choking. It still cannot walk well but I have it in walker I made and it is doing good.

She is walking not eating on own still hand fed but she is walking on her own!
